Where We Came From
Musically Unhinged began as Fiddlebling, a small shop inspired by one instrument and created by someone who had unexpectedly fallen in love with playing it.
After losing her singing voice, our founder found her way back to music through the fiddle. The shirts came later, inspired by the jokes, mishaps, and wonderfully peculiar conversations shared between tunes at camps and sessions.
Before long, fiddlers weren’t the only ones laughing. Violinists, cellists, music teachers and band directors wanted in on the joke. Fiddlebling grew into Musically Unhinged, a bigger playground for musicians of every kind.
And Fiddlebling? It still lives here as the collection that started it all.
What Makes Us Different

We don’t put an instrument on a shirt and call it clever. Every design begins with an idea musicians will recognize and a punchline worth wearing.

We’re at the camps, festivals, rehearsals, and sessions. If a design doesn’t make the musicians around us laugh, it doesn’t make it into the shop.

About the Shirt We Chose
We chose the Bella+Canvas 3001 because it’s the kind of shirt people reach for first. It’s soft, lightweight, and comfortably lived-in from the very first wear. If you’re looking for a heavyweight shirt, these may not be for you.
